Uganda's lawyers ask a regional court to void the election, citing violence and bias

How to do it

If you experienced or witnessed election-related abuses in Uganda around the January 2026 election (for example violence, arbitrary arrest or ill-treatment), you can lodge a complaint with the Uganda Human Rights Commission through its online complaint form (title, category of violation, date, location, description, optional evidence upload). Limits: the Commission is a Ugandan state body, it is separate from the Law Societies' petition at the East African Court of Justice, and it takes first-hand complaints about rights violations, not general opinions on the election.
