How to do it
The DHS Office of Inspector General Hotline accepts unclassified complaints of misconduct involving DHS components and personnel, and has a dedicated section for retaliation against whistleblowers. If you have firsthand information about handling of sexual assault or harassment reports at the Coast Guard or its Academy, you can file online or call 1-800-323-8603 (TTY 1-844-889-4357). You may file anonymously, though that can limit follow-up.
