Boeing

US aerospace and defense manufacturer; maker of JDAM guidance kits and GBU-39 bombs supplied to Israel.

Company · United States · Organization

Boeing makes the bombs that have killed displaced families in Gaza and Lebanon. New York Times and CNN video analysis identified its GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb in the May 26, 2024 strike on a displacement camp in Tal al-Sultan, Rafah, which killed 45 to 50 people. A CNN weapons expert traced shrapnel at al-Tabi'in school in Gaza City, where at least 80 people were killed on Aug 10, 2024, to a Boeing GBU-39. Bellingcat found GBU-39 remnants at 20 strikes on schools. Human Rights Watch found a Boeing JDAM kit in the bomb that killed three journalists in Hasbaya, Lebanon on Oct 25, 2024, and called the attack an apparent war crime. The repeat business followed: in 2026 Boeing won $8.6B for 25 F-15IA jets for Israel and reportedly agreed a deal worth up to $289M for up to 5,000 more bombs. It also builds 40–50% of Israel's Arrow 3 interceptor. Revenue reached $46.8B in H1 2026, about $280.6B since 2023, and backlog hit a record $715B at June 30, 2026.
