Israel Police closed 93.7% of monitored West Bank settler-violence investigation files without indictment, Yesh Din data show

Yesh Din, an Israeli rights group that tracks police files on violence by Israeli civilians against Palestinians in the West Bank, reported that of 1,664 files it monitored from 2005 to 2023, 93.7% were closed without an indictment, and about 81% ended in police investigative failure. Only 107 indictments were filed and about 3% of files led to full or partial convictions.
