Clark County Commission votes unanimously to appeal an $8.2 million Badlands-related property tax refund ruling to the Nevada Supreme Court, disputing liability with the City of Las Vegas

In a 2025 lawsuit, 180 Land Company (an EHB Cos./Yohan Lowie subsidiary) argued Clark County unlawfully collected roughly $8.2 million in property taxes on the former Badlands golf course between 2017 and 2025, because courts had already found the land was effectively taken by the city and thus tax-exempt. Clark County District Judge Tierra Jones ruled the county liable for the refund.
