Capitol security advisory committee chaired by Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan met fewer than the four times a year state law requires in each year from 2019 to 2024, per its annual reports
Minnesota Statutes 299E.04 requires the Advisory Committee on Capitol Area Security to meet at least quarterly and names the lieutenant governor as its chair. The committee's own annual reports list 2 meetings in 2019, 3 in 2020, 3 in 2021, 2 in 2022, 1 in 2023 and 2 in 2024, so none of the six years reached four.
