Lockheed Martin

US aerospace and defense manufacturer; supplier of F-35 jets and Hellfire missiles to Israel.

Company · United States · Organization

Lockheed Martin is the world's largest weapons manufacturer and prime contractor for the F-35 and F-16, the jets that, according to UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese's July 2025 report, were integral to Israel's ability to drop an estimated 85,000 tons of bombs on Gaza. Israeli F-35I jets also struck Iran in June 2025 and again from Feb 28, 2026. In June 2024 Israel signed for 25 more F-35s for about $3B, paid with U.S. military aid. Lockheed also makes the AGM-114 Hellfire: Bellingcat's 2026 investigation found Hellfire remnants after a June 2024 strike on a Gaza City health clinic and a Nov 2025 strike outside Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. The U.S. notified Congress of 3,000 more Hellfires for Israel ($660M) in Feb 2025 and of a $3.8B Apache package naming Lockheed and Boeing in Jan 2026. The proceeds: about $251.7B in sales and $20.6B in net earnings from 2023 to June 2026, and a record $230B backlog at June 28, 2026. CEO James Taiclet took about $70M for 2023–2025.
