F-35 component supplier to Israel

The United Kingdom suspended only 30 of roughly 350 arms export licences to Israel in September 2024 and explicitly carved out F-35 components, even though British industry makes about 15% of every F-35, the jet Israel uses to bomb Gaza. CAAT found the UK approved £127.6M of single-issue licences for military equipment to Israel between October and December 2024, more than in 2020–2023 combined. Palestinian rights group Al-Haq challenged the F-35 exemption, but the High Court dismissed the case on June 30, 2025, leaving in place exports of components 'which could not be identified as destined for Israel'. BAE Systems, Britain's largest weapons manufacturer, is a principal F-35 partner. The UN Commission of Inquiry's September 2025 genocide finding and call to halt arms transfers has not changed the F-35 carve-out.
