F-35 parts hub halted by court; buyer of Israeli rockets

Country · Netherlands · Country

The Netherlands hosts a European warehouse for US-owned F-35 spare parts. On February 12, 2024 the Hague Court of Appeal, in a case brought by Oxfam Novib and other groups, ordered the state to stop exporting F-35 parts to Israel because of a clear risk of serious violations of humanitarian law. The Supreme Court on October 3, 2025 scrapped the ban but ordered the minister to reassess within six weeks; the cabinet kept shipments halted in November 2025, saying a final decision would follow within six months. At the same time the Dutch state remains a customer of Israel's arms industry: in May 2023 it signed a $305M government-to-government deal for 20 Elbit PULS rocket artillery systems. EU data show Dutch licences to Israel of €1M or less in 2024.
