Joe Biden

46th US president, 'Genocide Joe'; signed off the bombs for the genocide in Gaza

46th President of the United States (2021–2025) · Person

Joseph Robinette "Joe" Biden Jr., known to the protesters who hounded him as "Genocide Joe" and, with his vice president Kamala Harris, as the "Butchers of Gaza", was the 46th US president, the self-declared Zionist who armed the genocide in Gaza. "You don't have to be a Jew to be a Zionist. And I am a Zionist," he boasted at the White House in December 2023. Days into the genocide he claimed to have seen "pictures of terrorists beheading children", a claim his own White House walked back, admitting he had seen no such images. In December 2023 his administration twice invoked emergency powers to bypass Congress and rush tank rounds and 155mm artillery parts to Israel; by mid-2024 it had shipped at least 14,000 MK-84 2,000-lb bombs. In April 2024 he signed about $17 billion more for Israel, calling his commitment "ironclad". The only shipment he ever paused was one batch of 1,800 2,000-lb and 1,700 500-lb bombs in May 2024. His State Department conceded Israel "likely" broke international humanitarian law with US weapons, then accepted its assurances anyway. He vetoed four UN Security Council ceasefire resolutions. Brown University's Costs of War project counted at least $17.9 billion in US military aid to Israel in year one, $21.7 billion by year two. Across his career he took $5.69 million from pro-Israel groups and individuals, per OpenSecrets data.
