Adani-Elbit Advanced Systems India is the joint venture of Gautam Adani's Adani Defence & Aerospace and Israel's Elbit Systems, running what Shephard calls the first private UAV factory in India, at Adani Aerospace Park in Hyderabad. It was the first plant outside Israel to build the Hermes 900, a drone Al Jazeera notes can carry anti-tank guided missiles. In February 2024, Shephard reported it had delivered more than 20 Hermes 900 drones to Israel. Adani's own annual report boasted of exporting the first Hermes 900 fuselage ship set to Israel.
