Israeli military tracking system that flags targets at home

'Where's Daddy?' is an automated Israeli military system revealed by +972 Magazine and Local Call in April 2024. It tracked people marked by Lavender and signalled when they entered their family homes, where they were bombed. 'It's much easier to bomb a family's home,' an intelligence officer said. 'The system is built to look for them in these situations.' The army permitted up to 15 or 20 civilian deaths when striking a junior suspect, according to the same investigation, so the system's design meant whole families were killed. UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese's July 2025 report names Where's Daddy? among the AI systems Israel uses to process targets.
