Dual-use and special military goods exporter to Israel
Country · Switzerland · Country
Switzerland has issued no direct war-materiel licences for Israel for years, but Swiss companies kept selling Israel goods that can serve its military. A SWI swissinfo.ch review published in March 2026 found that more than CHF24M of dual-use or specific military goods were exported to Israel from October 2023 to March 2025, about CHF6M of dual-use goods in the first quarter of 2024 alone, up from CHF238,000 in the last three months of 2023. The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs said the exports complied with the regulatory framework, an interpretation legal experts contest. The surge came as Israel carried out what the UN Commission of Inquiry concluded in September 2025 was genocide in Gaza.
