South Korea

Arms and ammunition exports to Israel continued after October 2023

Country · South Korea · Country

South Korea, now a top-tier arms exporter, did not stop selling to Israel. Investigative outlet Newstapa, using UN Comtrade and Korean customs data, found at least $814,000 of weapons, ammunition and parts (HS code 93) exported to Israel from October to December 2023, and $471,000 more from January to April 2024, a minimum of $1.285M during the first months of the genocide. The sums are small next to India's, but the data shows the tap was never turned off. Charge: small calibre, no conscience.
