Arcline CEO; bought the bomb-fuze maker Kaman
Arcline CEO · Person
Rajeev Amara has been CEO of Arcline Investment Management, a US private equity firm, since 2018. In April 2024 Arcline completed its all-cash takeover of Kaman Corporation at $46 a share, an enterprise value of about $1.8B. Kaman's fuze business made the Joint Programmable Fuze (FMU-152) used on US air-dropped bombs, the component that decides when a bomb explodes; in 2018 it won a $324M direct commercial sale order for the fuzes, which Kaman called the largest single order in the program's history, and the unit now operates as Precision Fuzing & Sensors. The US arms package approved for Israel in February 2025, worth $6.75B, covered munitions, guidance kits and fuzes. His personal pay and stake in Arcline are not public, as is customary in private equity, where the returns are private and the bombs are not. The UN Commission of Inquiry concluded in September 2025 that Israel committed genocide in Gaza.
