EU arms licensor to Israel
Country · Luxembourg · Country
Luxembourg licensed €2.52M of military exports to Israel in 2023 across five licences, and recorded €66,472 in actual arms exports, according to the EU's annual arms-export report. The licences were issued in the year Israel launched the assault on Gaza that the UN Commission of Inquiry concluded in September 2025 constitutes genocide; the Commission called on all states to stop transferring arms that may be used for genocidal acts. Like most member states, Luxembourg publishes licence values by military-list category but not by product or end user, so the public record does not show what was sold. Small sums from many states add up: EU licences for Israel totalled €948.12M in 2023.
