Second-largest crude supplier to Israel via Russia's CPC terminal; Abraham Accords member
Country · Kazakhstan · Country
Kazakhstan is Israel's second barrel. Oil Change International counts around 5.3 million tonnes of Kazakh crude shipped to Israel through Russia between November 2023 and October 2025; with Azerbaijan, around 70% of Israel's crude. The CPC blend comes largely from Tengizchevroil, owned by Chevron (50%), ExxonMobil (25%), state firm KazMunayGas (20%) and Lukoil (5%), per Data Desk, so US oil majors profit at the wellhead. In November 2025, after President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met Donald Trump and joined a call with Netanyahu, Kazakhstan's foreign ministry announced its accession to the Abraham Accords, mid-genocide. Charge: crude, then a handshake.
