Danish government; purchaser of Elbit ATMOS/PULS artillery systems and partner in the F-35 programme.
Agency · Denmark · Organization
Denmark's government bought 19 ATMOS howitzers and 8 PULS rocket launchers from Elbit Systems, Israel's largest private weapons maker, announced in January 2023. They replace CAESAR guns Denmark gave Ukraine, with deliveries from 2023 and full operation by 2025. Elbit announced $252M in matching contracts with a European NATO country in March 2023. Deliveries continued through the Gaza genocide, even though PULS was used 'extensively' by the Israeli army in Gaza and Lebanon. The money went to Elbit, which the UN Special Rapporteur's July 2025 report names as a key domestic supplier of weapons for the assault. Denmark is also a partner in the F-35 programme, whose jets Israel flies over Gaza and Lebanon; Danish company Terma makes more than 70 F-35 parts, and the UN Special Rapporteur calls the F-35 'pivotal to the Israeli air force'.
