Milei government: pledged Jerusalem embassy move, military MoUs, Israeli rifles

Country · Argentina · Country

Argentina under Javier Milei is Israel's loudest admirer in Latin America. Breaking Defense records Buenos Aires offering "unwavering support for Israel in the current war" while widening military cooperation on drones, cyber and border surveillance. On his third state visit in April 2026 Milei and Netanyahu launched the "Isaac Accords" and signed three memorandums on military and scientific cooperation, and Milei promised to move the embassy to Jerusalem "as soon as conditions are met". In September 2026 Argentine troops received the first batch of ARAD rifles made by Israel Weapon Industries. Charge: chainsaw diplomacy with a Jerusalem address.
