State of Mexico prosecutors and Chimalhuacan municipality failed to act on a woman's protection order before her killing, a rights commission found

In August 2021 a woman in Chimalhuacan, State of Mexico, reported two relatives for violence, and protective measures were ordered in her favor by the prosecutor's office and a judge. She was found killed at her home on February 26, 2022.
