What happened
In February 2024 a Hague appeals court ordered the Dutch government to stop exporting F-35 parts to Israel. On 3 October 2025 the Supreme Court overturned that ruling, holding that the minister, not the court, must assess whether there is a clear risk of serious violations of international humanitarian law, and gave the government six weeks to reassess while the suspension stayed in place. On 14 November 2025 the cabinet said it was too soon for a new assessment, following the 10 October Gaza ceasefire, and extended the halt pending a review expected within six months that must weigh the Arms Trade Treaty and EU arms export rules. The sources reviewed do not report the outcome of that review.
