What happened
A video shows a person telling a soldier 'No, I'm Muslim' at a barricaded street in Hebron; its date (captioned summer 2023) and the identity of the person filmed have not been confirmed. Restricted road access for Palestinians in Hebron (notably the Shuhada Street/H2 area) and elsewhere in the West Bank, where Israeli settlers can travel on roads closed to Palestinians, is documented by B'Tselem, Al Jazeera and the Applied Research Institute-Jerusalem, which describes expanded restrictions since October 2023. Some describe these as 'apartheid roads'.
