What happened
OFAC designated Israeli settlers Yinon Levi and David Chai Chasdai on February 1, 2024 under Executive Order 14115; Treasury said Levi led groups that assaulted Palestinian and Bedouin civilians and Chasdai led a riot in Huwara that resulted in the death of a Palestinian civilian. On April 19, 2024 Treasury also designated Mount Hebron Fund (which reportedly raised about $140,000 for Levi) and Shlom Asiraich (about $31,000 for Chasdai). After the order was revoked, OFAC on January 24, 2025 removed all persons designated under E.O. 14115, including Levi, Chasdai and both funds, from the SDN List.
