What happened
A December 2025 performance audit by Delaware's Office of Auditor of Accounts covered the Diamond State Port Corporation for July 2021 through June 2025. The auditor reported five instances where processes lacked proper oversight, including board executive sessions that did not meet Delaware Code requirements and inadequately documented minutes and agendas. The Secretary of State, who chairs the port board, said the report contained significant factual inaccuracies, and the corporation said it respectfully does not agree with the findings.
