Jamaica's Integrity Commission report on the Firearm Licensing Authority finds its licence database was 'manipulated' and 191 rounds of ammunition unaccounted for

An Integrity Commission report into the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA), tabled in Jamaica's Parliament on 2 June 2026, concluded that the FLA's Licence Management System was manipulated and that it appears inaccurate information was entered into a firearms dealer's account. The report also noted that 191 rounds of .22 ammunition belonging to a licensed firearm holder could not be accounted for and recommended an independent audit of the agency's vaults.
