Romania's National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) charged Robert Negoiță, PSD mayor of Sector 3, Bucharest, with abuse of office. Prosecutors allege that in summer 2025 he ordered a road built with public money on private land owned by a company linked to a real estate project of his brother, Ionuț Negoiță, causing estimated damage of over 902,000 lei to Sector 3; a separate strand covers 11 streets worked on without required permits and Transgaz approvals.
